We use premium grooming products, tailoring them to suit your pets needs. We can address most common skin conditions and coat issues. We will be happy to use your products should you choose to bring them along. All of the basic services offer shampoo, conditioner, nail trim and ear cleaning.
We offer additional services such as special shampoos, anal gland expression, nail grinding and heavy moisturizing conditioners. We are committed to offering services based on the individual needs of your pet. We accommodate pets who have special needs such as geriatric pets, puppies and pets that may be a bit “temperamental”.
Grooming is available by appointment. Holidays and summer season are very busy and can book up well in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your appointment request and appreciate your understanding. Special appointment times are recommended for pets with special requirements (geriatric, temperamental, etc). Please let Denise know if you think your pet may benefit from a special appointment timeframe.
Denise has been grooming professionally for over 32 years. Her goal has always been to groom your pet the way you have requested and to the best ability of your pet. She wants your pet to enjoy their spa day. Denise looks forward to building a trusting relationship with you and your pet.
It is the policy of Happy Tails Pet Grooming Salon that all pets presented for grooming services are healthy and up to date on all vaccines, including Distemper / Parvo, Rabies, Kennel Cough (Bordetella) and Canine Influenza (H3N2 at least…H3N2/H3N8 preferred). ***There is an ongoing epidemic of canine flu across the country and recently in nearby locations in Idaho. To ensure the best possible care of our guests, HTPR has updated the current vaccination requirements to include the Canine Influenza vaccination. Please click here to read the new vaccine requirements for our canine guests. As of 5/1/18, all canine guests to HTPR (boarding and grooming) must have completed the initial series of Influenza (2 vaccinations, 2-4 weeks apart) or be up to date on the annual booster. The vaccine must include the H3N2 strain of Influenza. Full protection is not present until 7 days AFTER the second vaccination, therefore we will NOT allow guests to enter the resort or grooming until at least one week after the second Flu vaccine. If your dog has received the initial series and is no more than one month overdue for an annual booster, vaccination may be performed on the day of admission to HTPR.
Please feel free to call with any questions or special requests you may have. Denise and the entire team are looking forward to pampering your pet!
