Dr. M.J. Forman moved to Jackson Hole with her family in 1970. She graduated from Jackson-Wilson High School in 1978. She attended Colorado State University for her undergraduate degree and graduated from Veterinary School in 1985. Dr. Forman ventured to the east coast for an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a specialty hospital in Connecticut. She then trained for three additional years in a small animal internal medicine residency at Tufts University. It was here that she met the love of her life and Co-CEO, Dr. Daniel Forman. After completing advanced degrees, Dan and M.J. practiced in New Hampshire for two years. The loss of a dear family member brought the couple back to Jackson Hole where they married in 1991. Spring Creek Animal Hospital was born July of 1992. That same year, M.J. became the first board certified veterinary small animal internal medicine specialist in a three state area. Their son Josh is attending the University of Wyoming and son Matt is currently attending Jackson Hole High School. MJ feels blessed, but insanely busy being a small business owner, medical director of SCAH, veterinarian, wife, mother, and hockey/ski mom. M.J. likes to read and is trying to learn how to cook. She loves exercise of any type, but in particular hiking, biking and skiing. Dr. MJ has the following furry critters at home: dogs Mishka and Marley; cats Nesta and Gretzky.
